December 20, 2016

Lee Anderson has been with Victory Living Programs for more than 20 years. He participates in the Supported Living, Adult Day Training/Community Inclusion Program and the Social /Recreational Program. He volunteers at Margate Elementary School and Jacobs Shoes with the Adult Day Training/Community Inclusion Program.

According to Lee Pouncy, the supervisor of the Supported Living Program, “Lee has a very calm demeanor and loves to help anyone in need. He is very respectful, helpful and enjoys a good joke.”

Known for visiting with old friends just to keep in touch, Lee never forgets anyone, no matter the distance or lapsed time between visits.

Lee’s passions include playing sports. He is a member of Victory Living Programs’ basketball, volleyball, bowling and softball Special Olympics teams, having won many gold, silver and bronze medals through the years.  He also loves watching sports and spending time with his friends.

“He is truly a kind individual,” said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. “Lee is the friend that ensures friendships continue to grow as the years pass.”

Lee has two brothers, James and Charles. Neither brother lives in the area, however he and James keep in touch weekly and see each other whenever possible. Lee also enjoys spending time with his best friend David and girlfriend Heidi.

When asked what he would like for Christmas this year, Lee responds with simple requests, t-shirts, Miami Dolphin gear and socks.

Lee, your Victory Living family loves you and congratulates you on being selected as the Client of the Month for December. Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy new year!
