One of the many volunteer projects that Victory Living Programs’ ADT/Community Inclusion clients participate in is volunteering at Margate Elementary School three days per week. Each week, 25 participants volunteer their time to help clean the cafeteria, assist the students with carrying their trays and finding seats.

On May 25, 2017, all 25 participants were recognized at a special volunteer appreciation breakfast at Margate Elementary School. Principal Thomas J. Schroeder and Vice Principal Vicki Flournoy presented each volunteer with a certificate and special gift for their weekly volunteer efforts at the school’s cafeteria.
“We are so proud of our volunteers and their dedication to helping the school’s cafeteria run as smoothly as possible,” said Bobbi Wigand, Executive Director of Victory Living Programs. “Selfless acts of service are important components to our clients reaching their highest level of independence and we are incredibly grateful for the long-standing relationship we have with Margate Elementary School.”
