One day Leo Levy was attending a picnic to celebrate Mitzvah Day at Temple Kol Ami for the clients of Victory Living Programs. He enjoyed interacting with the clients so much (especially karaoke) that he approached Bobbi Wigand to learn how he could get more involved.

“She offered me the opportunity to volunteer with the ADT/Community Inclusion Program,” said Leo. “That was three years ago and I have loved every Tuesday since.”

Every Tuesday Leo spends his time working with clients on arts and crafts projects, strengthening their reading and writing skills, and planning new volunteer projects. ”Leo has a great sense of humor and the guys love him,” said Robyn Ames, Adult Day Training Supervisor. “He always goes the extra mile and we are lucky to have him as a dedicated volunteer.”

When asked what he loves most about volunteering his time with Victory Living Programs, he responds with “I love being useful and I gain terrific satisfaction from working with the guys each week.“

Thanks for all you do, Leo!
